Trash Talk FAQ's

        1) What holidays are recognized by the trash company and will effect the trash pick?

                    New Years Day

                    Memorial Day

                    Independence Day

                    Labor Day

                    Thanksgiving Day

                    Christmas

          If the holiday falls on or before the regular pick up day (Wednesday), it will delay the

          trash/recycle pick up one day.         

 

2) Can large items be set out for pick up?

Yes. You are allowed two (2) bulky items, any item over 50 lbs., each week. These items should be tagged with an orange tag and picked up by a different truck at a later time. Please call the office if it has not been tagged or picked up after 10 - 14 days.

3) How long do they pick up yard waste?

Yard waste pick up is from the first Wednesday in April through the last Wednesday in November.

4) How often do they pick up recycling?

                    Recycling is picked up every week. You must use a recycling bin so that the driver can identify

                    recycling at the curb.            

                    Recycling bins can be purchased at the Township Office for $7.00.
