The Fiscal Services Department performs all the major accounting functions of the Township including payroll, payment of bills, maintaining ledgers, compilation of monthly and annual financial statements, and the budgeting process. With staffing of one full-time person, ledgers and financial statements are maintained for the 12 separate funds of the Township. At fiscal year end, the books are closed and the auditing firm is provided a rough draft of the audited financial statements, which are then subject to extensive auditing to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Public Act 202 requires the township to publish the status of our financial liabilities for the Pension Plan and Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) programs. Select this link to be redirected to the web page where this information is posted.
