Property Taxes

The treasurers office collects both a summer and winter tax. In 2003 the state mandated that each unit of government would collect the State Education Tax (SET) on a summer tax bill. The summer tax is billed on July 1st and is due by September 14th each year.  The Winter tax is billed on December 1st and due by February 14th.  After March 1st, all delinquent real property taxes are paid at the Saginaw County Treasurers Office.  Taxes may be paid daily at the office from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. A drop box is located on the northeast side of the building for non-cash payments. Payments may also be mailed in the envelope provided with the tax bill. Taxes may be paid with a credit card, however there is a 3% processing fee when using card.

Dog Licenses

Dog licenses are available from December 1 to February 28 at the Township Office. The owner must show proof of a current rabies vaccination. After February 28, dog licenses may be purchased from either the Saginaw County Treasurer’s Office or your local veterinarian.
